These are brand new cereals on the market at my local Publix. Do they look healthy to you?

This is healthy: bacon, eggs and apple slices. The narrative is shifting, but the brand-new cereals above is discouraging to me. It seems there is still a growing market for even more ultra-processed foods.
I want to be a part of the wonderful movement that is encouraging and teaching people to eat real food. I am hosting this Bible Study on God Given Food by Celia Marie online to encourage as many Christians as possible to eat the best food that God has provided in order to be as healthy as we can be. God has created a wide variety of food for us to eat. But so many of us are eating “fake food” – food-like substances created by humans in a lab. How is it that we think we can improve on what God has created?
Celia Marie discusses two attitudes towards food that exist in the church. One is that we can eat what we want as long as we say a blessing over our food. The health of church goers isn’t any better than non-church goers. Based on the evidence I would say this is Not True.
The other opinion that she discusses is that we should eat a plant-based diet because that was the human diet from Eden to Noah. But God clearly tells Noah he can eat meat after the flood, so I would say this is also Not True.
Additionally, the advice we get from the government and medical groups is so confusing. And even when we do what they say, we keep getting sicker.
When I was a little girl, we started getting pressured to eat as little fat as possible. We increased our carbs, switched from butter to margarine, and stopped eating eggs and bacon. We started using EGG SUBSTITUTE for crying out loud. Our health took a nose-dive in one generation!
God can and does heal us from diseases miraculously, but not always. What if we prayed for healing and worked at healing as well? What if God wants to heal us, be we aren’t giving our bodies the proper tools he has created to promote health? We don’t earn money without work. We don’t make friends without stepping outside and meeting people. Online friends don’t count. We need to actually go to church for spiritual guidance and instruction. Let’s also work hard at being healthy! Be mindful about health. Go for a walk, be outside as much as possible enjoying His creation, have fun exercising and playing with good friends in community as He has instructed, rejoice in the Lord always, AND eat God given food.
Are you new on this journey to natural foods? What is a God-focused way of eating to you? I welcome your comments below.
